2009 Challenge Quilt

Black and white and ????? all over! The 2009 quilting challenge was a designer's choice black and white quilt plus one other mystery color.  Members selected a crayon from a basket for a third color. The use of some gray was also permitted. Quilters chose their own block pattern and quilt design that incorporated black, white and their crayon color. Originality was encouraged. Quilts must be 18" x 18" or larger.

Categories for viewers'  choice awards were:

          ~Best Use of Color

          ~ Most Creative or Original

          ~ Most Humorous

          ~ Prettiest

Challenge quilts were presented and displayed at the December 2009 meeting during our Christmas Social.
