2010 Challenge Quilt
This year's challenge quilt
is to depict a childhood memory in a red and white
quilt. The quilts will be displayed and judged by guild
members at the February 2011 meeting.
The criteria are:

45" x 45" or
smaller . . . no minimum size
-
Any construction
method is acceptable
-
Quilt must be
completed; bound and quilted
-
May be hand or
machine quilted
-
Must use at
least three different red fabrics

2009 Challenge Quilt
Black and white and
????? all over! The
2009 quilting challenge was a
designer's choice black and white quilt plus one other
mystery color. Members selected a crayon from a basket
for a third color. The use of some gray was also permitted.
Quilters chose their own block pattern and
quilt design that incorporated black, white and their
crayon color. Originality was encouraged. Quilts must be 18" x 18" or larger.

awards were:

~ Most Creative or Original
~ Most Humorous
~ Prettiest
Challenge quilts were presented and displayed at the
December 2009 meeting during our Christmas Social.
